About Jarvus Innovations

Jarvus Innovations is a civic technology consultancy in Philadelphia that builds open-source data infrastructure for public agencies, mainly transit agencies and state departments of transportation. Its work covers real-time data pipelines, GTFS and GTFS-RT feeds, cloud migration, rider and performance dashboards, data standards and validation tools, and technology roadmapping and procurement support.

The firm has partnered with public organizations since 2011 and aims to build agencies' own capacity instead of tying them to a vendor. Projects include a statewide transit data warehouse in California and data strategy for the Washington, D.C. transit system. Its team of nine senior technologists works from Philadelphia and Toronto.
