Detroit Labs puts designers, engineers and strategists on one dedicated team that stays with a project from discovery to launch. The firm helps clients define and validate new products, design and build mobile apps and websites, modernize aging systems and reduce technical debt, and it also places engineers on client teams.

Founded in Detroit in 2011 by Paul Glomski, Nathan Hughes and Dan Ward, the company has worked with restaurant chains, automakers, credit unions, utilities and consumer brands. Its office is on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit, and it has trained developers from the Detroit area as part of its work in the city.
